Puteaux
The former car garage acquired in December 2018 is in Puteaux, a commune located on the left bank of the Seine in the Greater Paris Metropolis. The site is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from La Défense business district and 18 minutes' walk away from the Bois de Boulogne.
Presence in the soils of hydrocarbons, metals, and chlorinated compounds was identified, as well as asbestos. These identified contaminated materials were excavated during infrastructure work, sorted on site and sent to appropriate waste management facilities.
The redevelopment plan includes 2,400 sqm of housing representing 31 housing units, a majority of which are two-bedroom units or larger. The municipal authorities did not wish to include social housing in the development, as the quota for this type of housing has been reached in the city.
